Gary H. Manulkin graduated—Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa—from the University of Southern California in 1964. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from New York University School of Law in 1967. Since 1968, he has practiced in the area of Immigration and Naturalization Law. He served as an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at Loyola Law School and Southwestern University School of Law from 1971-1982. Mr. Manulkin was co-founder of the Model Cities One-Stop Immigration Center. Since 1978, Mr. Manulkin has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law. He is the author of numerous articles in academic and news publications, and has won landmark cases in the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals, and the Board of Immigration Appeals, including Landon v. Placensia, which he successfully argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in 1982, and which granted permanent residents the constitutional right to due process to be treated fairly at the U.S. border.
